Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Jibe, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the service.

Service Description

Jibe is a group trip planning tool that helps groups coordinate availability and find dates that work for everyone. The service allows users to create trips, invite members via share links, and collaboratively determine the best travel dates.

User Conduct

When using Jibe, you agree to:

  • Provide a reasonable display name (no offensive, abusive, or misleading names)
  • Not misuse or share trip codes with unintended recipients
  • Not attempt to access trips you are not a member of
  • Not interfere with or disrupt the service or its infrastructure
  • Not use automated tools to access the service in a way that exceeds reasonable use

Account & Access

Jibe does not require traditional accounts. Access is managed through share codes and browser cookies. You are responsible for keeping your trip share codes private among your intended group. Anyone with a share code can join the associated trip.

Content

Users provide display names, availability dates, and trip preferences. Trip creators have full control over their trips and can delete all associated data at any time. Trip creators may also remove individual members from their trips.

Intellectual Property

The Jibe name, branding, design, and code are the property of its creators. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the service without permission.

Limitation of Liability

Jibe is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to loss of data, trip planning issues, or service interruptions. Use Jibe at your own discretion.

Termination

We reserve the right to discontinue or modify the service at any time. Trip creators can delete their trips at any time, permanently removing all associated data. We may also remove trips or restrict access if we determine misuse of the service.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent changes. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
